Pinch Pot Reflection: 01/25/2012 1. Evaluate: What are the good/strong parts of your vessel(s)? What is done well? I think i did a good job making my pot the same thickness all the way around. I took my time. 2. Evaluate: What do you think you could have done better on this project? I could have put more detail into the pot. Theres not that much detail at all. 3. Describe the attributes of your form: Is it short, tall, wide, thin, thick, rounded, squared, etc.? How? I think my pot is a little more short than i wanted it to be. 4. Describe the texture of your project's surface: Is it rough, smooth, stippled, contoured, organic, ornamented, etc.? How? My pot is smooth because i wanted it to look professanal and beautiful just like me :). 5. What do you conclude about making clay projects using the pinch pot technique? Why? I conclude the pinch pot is one of the easiest ways on making a pot. 6. Metacognate: What did you learn from this project that you could apply to other projects in the future? What lessons could be applied to life in general? Why? I learned that making pots is very fun and a good way to describe your feelings. 7. Evaluate on the meaning of your pinch vessel: Why did you do it the way you did? Was it planned? What is by chance? Elaborate... I tried to make a bowl that could hold all of my change. I made it wide and short. It turned out just the way i wanted it to be. 8. What skills/strategies will you apply on the next clay projects? Why? I am going to use my creativity to make the coolest Gargoyle head ever!
